Is Crude Oil Running Dry? Peak Oil or Corporate Fabrication?

I became interested in the subject of Oil after this phenomenal rise in the price of Oil in the last few days. Oil is trading at around 135$ per barrel at the time of writing this article. (27th May 2008)

I found a few documentaries like “The Oil Crash”, where they talk about the doomsday scenario when Oil production would decline 10% to 15% from the current levels, and that would give rise to Global Recession spanning an entire generation, before we can get together our act and shift completely to Renewable sources of energy.

But I decided to start researching about alternative Oil theories, where I found a lot of info about how Russians have found Oil in Super-deep wells, and abiotic oil production theory may infact be proven true if there is enough research done by Western Universities. Corporations won’t do it, coz they have to earn a profit.

Is the world really running out of oil and natural gas, or is the oil industry running the same scam they ran in 1973 when TV stations broadcast advertisements that depicted dinosaurs lumbering through a forest as a somber voice proclaimed:

“There are no more dinosaurs . . . the world is running out of oil.”

In a shocking development, Russia has become the world’s largest producer of Crude Oil.

Russians started drilling Kola SG-3, an exploration well which finally reached a staggering world record depth of 40,230 feet. Since then, Russian oil majors including Yukos have quietly drilled more than 310 successful super-deep oil wells, and put them into production. Last year Russia overtook Saudi Arabia as the world’s biggest single oil producer, and is now set to completely dominate global oil production and sales for the next century.

Do the Russians know something we don’t know? How did they manage to find seemingly inexhaustible Oil?

According to Chaplin Lindsey Williams, who worked in the field with top corporates of the energy industry, there is a conspiracy by the government and large corporates to keep the people guessing, in effect earning ever-larger profits, and forcing the oil-producing Arab countries to keep buying American National Debt. It is a starling revelation.
